The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in India is set to kick off on October 5, featuring a clash between defending champions England and New Zealand at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.







 ICC World Cup 2023: The biggest tournament of cricket is set to kickstart in less than 24 hours now as the defending champions England is ready to re-create the last edition's finals as they play the runners-up New Zealand on 5 October at Narendra Modi Stadium Ahmedabad. The ICC World Cup 2023 is going to be one of the most exciting sporting events in years as the world's top 10 teams will clash with each other to lift the trophy and rule the world of cricket.








 ICC World Cup 2023 prize money 
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has earmarked a total of Rs 83 crore or $10 million for World Cup 2023 prize purse. The winner of the tournament will get Rs 33 lakh or $4 million whereas the runner-up would get Rs 16 lakh or $2 million.

 Indian schedule for Cricket World Cup: 
🏏 October 8: India v Australia, Chennai, 2 PM

🏏 October 11: India v Afghanistan, New Delhi, 2 PM

🏏October 14: India v Pakistan, Ahmedabad, 2 PM

🏏October 19: India v Bangladesh, Pune, 2 PM

🏏October 22: India v New Zealand, Dharamsala, 2 PM

🏏October 29: India v England, Lucknow, 2 PM

The first semi-final will be held on Wednesday, November 15 in Mumbai and the second semi-final will be held on November 16 in Kolkata. Both semi-finals will have a reserve day.

The World Cup Final will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19 with November 20 slated as the reserve day.

All three knock-out fixtures will be day-night affairs, with the matches beginning at 14:00 pm IST.
